As title really.

At the end of August I will be upgrading and will have £500 to spend on a system. I already have all peripherals, PSU, HDD, GPU optical drive and OS. All I need is a CPU, mobo (if I go with sandybridge then I will need RAM as well).

The system will be used for video encoding, photoshop and some CAD work, I dont really do any gaming but might have a little play with a flight sim at some point.

I will also be keeping an eye on what AMD's BD can do and with AMD I wont need RAM so might be able to get a SSD as well.

Any help will be much appreciated. :)

As much as the "Radon Torosaur" from ocuk is a great deal, I thought that an i7 2600K would be better for the programs that I will be running. Although I dont really know too much about intel systems.

It might be good to come back in August, as said. There might be some new products (like Bulldozer, whenever that will come out >__>).

I do think i7 2600k, a Gigabyte or Asus mobo and 4/8GB of RAM like what Grimley mentioned is the way to go, at the moment anyway.

I do understand the whole "come back in August" thing, I am just trying to work out colour schemes and need to order certain bits for the build now, although I might be able to wait a while to order things.
