Hello Chaps, i'm looking to advise my friend on a new computer build for which he has a budget of £500.
for this £500 you should include everything, case, psu, drives and keyboard, etc.

the only things not included in the budget is the monitor which is being bought separately and OS and Mouse, which he already has.

let's hear 'em boys :)

I wouldn't get a CX with a 5850. Either a XFX Pro 550W (44A @ 12V, a few pounds more), or a BeQuiet L7 (34A @ 12V, a few pounds less).

The Asgard is OK, the CM 430 is better.

I wouldn't recomend a wireless-N USB, but rather, a PCI card.

no problem on the PSU recommendation - swapped that for an L7.

Wireless N USB adapter was a specific request, it'll only be used at G-speeds anyway :)
