I'm looking for a gaming system for a 12 yr old for Christmas, he's adamant he needs 8gb of RAM and windows 7, and a wireless network card is essential. Apart from those things we're just looking for the best performance for the £500 budget, any recommendations?

Hi RJC

I am glad i have seen this post as i too am looking for a cheap entry gaming PC and your 1st post hast done the trick thank you so much..

Could i ask what difference or which CPU is better? The one you listed above on your 1st post or AMD A10-5800K Black Edition 3.80GHz (Socket FM2) APU Trinity Quad Core Processor (AD580KWOHJBOX)?

I assume the A10 is newer then the A8 yet the Radeon cores is much more than the A10???

Kind Regards
