500 - internal server error WHERES MY 404????

Hi all,

So my website is online, www.winhall.net

One wierd problem is that when you try and access a file taht doesn't exist, it gives a 500 error instead of a 404 and this seems to be confusing google in some wierd way becuase google is saying it can't access my website!

Can anyone find the problem with this? Thanks!

My guess is a misconfigured server...

Do you have a .htaccess file? If so, please post it. If not, speak to your host

that error message says "if you have the same issue on another browser please contact ....."

ermm... he wants all your users to use another browser if a page is missing... sure, because _most_ web users would do that.

i'd ring up your hosting company and have a go at them tbh.. something's misconfigured somewhere.

Sorry to pipe up, I know you didn't ask for critique but while it's a really nice site, it's a shame that all the thumbnail photos are squashed to square rather than cropped. You only really notice on people's faces but it's still a shame.
