Hi there i have arround the £500 mark to try and build a gaming set up ....
If possible could someone throw me a build together on here and please send me a screenshot of the basket !
Its been a very long time since i built a pc so im a little out of practice.
Any help would be amazing !!!
I have been looking at the ASUS ROG G20BM Gaming PC But im a little certain i could build something better ...

Thanks Look forward to hearing from you lovely lot !!!

as above but Gigabyte Board, 3200 ram so CPU isn't slowed down whilst gaming and ditching the SSD and HDD for a larger HDD

No, they're about even (each have their benefits depending on task) - but you would be severely limiting your upgrade path with the FX CPU.

I would consider dropping the SSD for now and getting a Ryzen 1400 - which would negate any comparable performance concerns.

Dropped the SSD, can be added later. A 1400 CPU (great performer), 3000MHz AM4 approved memory (3000MHz is the minimum for Ryzen) and upgraded the PSU to a marginally better quality unit (wattage wasn't the concern - but the added Watts is a bonus.)

Price is comparable to your last FX build but better performance and more importantly longevity for future upgrades:

For an addded £15 more you would get this mighty performer:
