£500 PC Spec

hey guys just another spec question:

I wanna get a cpu,mobo,gfx,ram,psu and cooler for £500

what do you guys suggest?

8800GTS 320mb
e6300
Fatal1ty 650 mobo (abit)
Tuniq Tower 120
1gb of Geil ram or whatever. about £60 there.
And a 450W FSP PSU. Should be a little over 500£, but so worth it.

ahh thats cool, i didnt think about the low end 8800's, i was loooking at something like a 1950xt

Im guessing that mobo is better than the DS3? (never really been a abit fan you see)

Yes. The chipset is excellent. I'm gutted actually because I bought my DS3 about 2 weeks before the Fatal1ty 650 came onto the scene.

You definatly need a 'little' more leaway for that graphic card, spiking could cause problems.

Recommend that.

Also, The freezer may be 'good' but it's certainly not excellent, try a tuniq tower 120 (excellnt, keeps my e6400 @ 23degrees idle, under 32 load.) or the scythe ninja if you need quiet more than anything.

This spec looks good, I'd order that. Maybe change the cooling to a TT or a scythe ninja, or a noctua, but other than that... perfect.

3Ghz is around the norm, maybe more depends how lucky you get
