Any comments or changes? Will be used for general use and an occasional bit of gaming.

By far a better gaming build.

Double that, might consider cheaper mobo and maybe 4850 if you're fancy spending extra 20 quid.

I've probably overstated the gaming part of it. It'll only be playing WoW and DoW, possibly DoW2. As long as it runs those at an acceptable level then theres no problems really.

a gaming rig needs a GOOD gfx card, que the 4850, and non nvidia chipset which is likely to die, (very likely)

This is the one to go for. A P45 motherboard is a better choice over the P43 and not that much more expensive. The E5200 is great once it's overclocked and the 4850 is the best card for your money (well your friends money). This spec should be more than enough for your friends needs.

She hasn't ordered it so I'll tweak it a bit. May as well squeeze as much out of the spec as i can. There will be no overclocking whatsoever though. What would be the best CPU taking this into account?

EDIT:

How about that?

Friend uses hardly any space on her current one (60 gig disk isn't even near full). No need for it really. All okay apart from that though?
