Hi all,
can someone spec my aunt a ~£500 desktop build please?
She doesnt need mouse, keyboard, monitor or OS.

Needs RAM, CPU, MoBO, HDD and Case (and PSU) and the usual to make it boot (DVDRW for installing Windows for example).

Thanks.

It will be for general office and internet use, primarily using Dragon Nautral Speaking 10.
Her son might occasionally play games, though nothing too intesive I believe.

x64 Windows 7 Professional N will be going on the machine.

I have plenty of DVI-VGA convertors, so something with a DVI rather than VGA output will not be a problem.

Thanks for the spec, but I think she doesnt need an SSD - anything will be a speed improvement over her current 8 year old PC! :)

Well without the SSD you can afford a very decent GPU, perfect for the odd bit of gaming :)
