As title, £500 for everything. Internet use, burning films to dvd, downloading, no gaming at present but wouldnt mind it being reasonably futureproof if i want to add a good graphics card or more RAM. Needs to dislpay on a 24" tv that i be using as my monitor. have mouse and keyboard and speakers.,

How is the on board graphics on these setups, was always not great when I last looked at systems but think there more capable now ?
 
 
But would that processor be better to have at the minute, for all I do on the pc then in future if I decide to play a game I could stick a card in.
 
Well, will the on-board graphics be able to display basic use up on my 24" tv ? As i dont want a monitor i intend to use my TV via HDMI

It's Boss at video encoding, especially with quicksync enabled. The 3570K has a better IGP than the sandybridge version (2500K) and consumes less power

I ripped and re-encoded (2 pass) a 2hr DVD movie on the fly from the DVD in 20 mins on an i5 2500K @4.4Ghz
