Hi guys,

Looking to get a new laptop for practicing my C# coding on lunchbreaks and while I'm out and about.

Would be nice to have a nice screen and be able to comfortably watch non-choppy Netflix as well.

Needs to be light, a metal body would be AMAZING but I know it might not be within my budget, and the bigger the screen the better for coding :)

Any ideas?

Thank you,

JP

Try get a second hand Lenovo X1 carbon (5th / 6th gen).

Me and my mate bought a couple of laptops recently: X1 Carbon / HP 830 / Dell (new).

IMO The Carbons best for coding.. its so light at 1.1kgs but the best thing about them are the keyboards, they are ideal
for concentrating on code... (its like typing on a desktop). Its also totally cool and has an immense battery.

Thats not to say the HPs / DELLs are bad.. they are good for YouTube and other things. I just bring out the Carbon for doing work.
