£500 to upgrade

I have set myself a limit of £500 to upgrade my current PC, I'm thinking new GFX, new PSU (current one is a bit dodgy), SSD . My current spec is as follows:

Asus P8Z68-V Intel Z68
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 16GB total 4 x4GB
Intel Core i7 2700K 3.50Ghz @ 4.40Ghz DDR3
OcUK HD 6850 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
OcUK Crusade 850W Quad Rail High Efficiency '80 Plus' Power Supply - Causing random power off.
2x ITB HD
2x 2TB HD.
24" 1080p main screen

What would get me the best bang for the spend? I am better of waiting until there are more PCI SSD's available I've survived this long without one. Primary use of the rig is gaming.

What case do you have? just in case some GFX cards dont fit in it.

Do they still make converters for 5.25" bays into 3.5" for HD's? Nothing too expensive doesn't need to be hotswap.

Silverstone and Lina Li do them but I cant see them listed here anymore.

If the cards too long then get a MSI Gaming or ASUS Strix which are shorter.

No that fits certain Silverstone case, there use to be adapters that just convert the bay from inside with nothing outside showing.

Could do but I have 3 spare 5.25" bays would be nice to change them into 4 3.5" bays rather then 3 would also fit all my HD's in.

If you need your drive bays then get a shorter 970.
