£500 upgrade - Please advise

Looking to get the following for a mate

- CPU
- Mobo
- Memory (8gb, maybe 16gb)
- CPU cooler

The rest of his rig is fine, PSU, SSD and case all modern, he’scoming from a intel quad core, so keen to stay with intel. Any advice or combo’s welcome under £500
