£500, without ram and hdd?? spec me!

Hi,

I'm upgrading my current system, and have 1gb of ddr400 ram, and a hard drive already. so what would be my best bet for a computer for £500? i do a lot of gaming so that would be top priority.

He could always get that ASROCK C2D board that lets you run DDR1, Asrock 775Dual. That way he could keep his ram and get a c2d, but yeah, a gigabyte board would be useless for his ram.

Edit:

You say you have ram and a drive. Are you needing everything else though? Mouse, Keyboard, Monitor, Case, PSU?
