Hi guys,

My other half has decided she’d like a PC for gaming. She currently has one built up from old parts that I had but it’s not cutting the mustard any longer.

Ideally after something that will run Sims 4, new Two point hospital and for general browsing. Would ideally be future proof for games of a similar vein.

Small for factor would be benificial, her desk isn’t that large.

I was thinking Ryzen 3 + 1050ti but happy to be advised otherwise.

Thanks in advance
Joe

Thanks very much for those orbital - is there a sweet spot at a slightly higher budget? Will £600 say get us a much nicer machine?

APU should do the trick, sims 4 isnt really that demanding, i used to play that with an haswell i3 + gtx 750 years ago, the ryzen APU chips are stronger than older APU models. technically you could get away with a gtx1030 which i think is between the 2200g & 2400g.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £503.05 (includes shipping: £11.10)

case it an acquired taste, but it comes with a psu that should be plenty as its pretty much a low powered APU.

alternative suggestion is this intel, its the older kabylake, but you dont really need more than this to play those 2 games and to browse.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £437.99 (includes shipping: £11.10)

edit: i have that Aerocool case above and for the price its nice and small enough for a desk as per seen in my setup pic below.

Nicer as Looks.. or nice as POWER ??
In theory, £600 means you can whack Either gtx 1060 for full power ! Or gtx 1050ti and move up to 6 core i5 8400 or ryzen 5 1600
