what's up?
Is this raised bump on the PCB normal? It starts near the PCIe Express slot. I've seen some reports online, but I'd like to know if anyone here has the same GPU and noticed the same thing.

Is this a new card, is has it possibly been worked on at a repair shop previously?

I can't say if a pcb is always flat or not. Presumably pcb's has to be flat for things to stay soldered on, how flat I wouldn't know.

My crude understanding, from watching this guy's youtube videos, is that doing repairs on a graphics card and when involving heat, which stresses the material of the card and I guess will bend the card in ways if not handled properly.
I am tempted to add details, but I think I won't, because I don't know much about these things.

Btw, you might like this youtube channel. An issue sometimes mentioned, is the issue of non-flat pcb's. Sometimes a repair includes removing chips and reballing and resoldering the parts, which requires a flat board.
This guys seems like a pro. He sometimes points out that he sometimes get cards that appears to have been worked at by other people, people that maybe didn't quite knew what they were doing trying to fix a graphics card.
