How much are these days?

For a used one I would say £100-150 tops. Plasma production ended many years ago as it wasnt very power efficient & there were screen burn issues too.

Plus OLED is so much better

I have both a 50" Pioneer Kuro & 65" Sony OLED in the house and the kuro just looks so bad these days against the OLED
(mainly due to the Kuro looking so dim in brightness against the OLED)

Also the pioneer is looking really dated now with the huge bezels and far worst if you also have the pioneer speakers fitted.

I do like the huge bezels as they can take a hit and one person can lift it up. Take a lump lammer to the corner of each, would one would hold up to whacks>

Whilst I don’t have a Kuro, I’ve got a decent Panasonic plasma from 2010 which is still going. I’m not planning to change it until it breaks as it’s still decent. The cheap LCD next door isn’t terrible for casual viewing though, so I’m really looking forward to upgrading to the latest tech for the main viewing room. The difference will hopefully be significant. Also if you take into account the bezels, I’d easily fit a 55-60” set in the same space as the current 50”
