Currently running a 4070 super with a 3700x
Im a VR SIM racer and the system is struggling with latest titles.

Can you spec me a full 5090 system with a decent AMD processor excluding storage as I can keep these from my current system.
Budget £3k

That looks great.
I was going to split my old system up and sell the parts but keeping the storage drives. I already have a 2tb NVMe so that can save £193

I see that the memory and motherboard and graphics card are pre-order at the moment.

Memory is a pain at the moment! I'd just grab anything in stock that looks half-decent and is a reasonable price, regardless of 48, 64, 96, any speed/latency near 6000/C30.

Graphics: the next one in stock was a Palit and the warranty tab says it is just 2 year :o There's no way I'd dump £2K on a 2 year warranty (the Zotac is 5, if you register within 30 days).

Motherboard: wow, stock is really bad. Strix B850-F is the closest, but a lot more expensive. You could switch to X870, a few more options there.

I can wait a month or so , hopefully the zotac and memory will be back in stock at some point

Thanks for your recommendations. Really appreciated

Built this today apart from the 5090 which I'm waiting on delivery.

All the parts suggested by tetras fitted together perfectly.
I haven't built a PC in over 12yrs so I took my time.
Windows has just installed so just need to put the 5090 in now :)

Thanks again tetras for your suggestions
