512MB GeForce 8800M GTS

How long for gaming do you guys think the above Laptop card is good for ?

12 months ?

It's currently ranked 16th in the top 100.

It should be fine for games coming this year unless they all have requirements like GTA4 or Crysis

you should be fine for a few years I recon. A lot of pc games are made to be scaleable like valve games that can run pretty well on intergrated graphics cards.

Yer what top 100 list is this?

That list sucks lol...

9800m GT and 8800m GTX are exactly the same specs yet the 9800 is ^ 3 spaces...

9800m GTX is hardly any better than a 8800m GTX either.

8800m GTS should last a while though :-)

I can't find the link but as somebody pointed out that the 9800m has better and tweaked more up to date tailor made drivers posted by the manufacturers of laptops so thats why it is scoring better.
