ok a friend of mine has asked me to compare his 5200 amd x2 core to an intel cpu now question do i let him down gently or tell him an average comparision say the 6400?
 
a 6300 would be a good comparison but tell it to him in a away that it sucks really bad becuase thier not bad cpus plus theres k10 which he can upgrade to
 
Its coming out in june for servers and august-september for desktops
it fits in the am2 skt giving upgrade ablility
 
ahhh i have heard of it i think i was having a stupid moment there. lol but arent the k10 cpu going to support the new ddr3 memory when that hits the shelves.

He would need an AM2+ mainboard first.

i have the amd 5000+ am2 and a e6300 and the intel takes the pee out of it on most things except gaming well thats down to the card tbh.

but apart from that the e6300 stock is 1.86 but mine is at 3.1 at the min the am2 i can only just get over 3ghz i very much doubt if ill get another amd chip at the min
