Unfortunately, BMW have got me thinking. I've been offered this, and, given that during it's ownership we're likely to want to start a family, and go camping a lot, is there any benefit in this sort of car.

Brand New 530d GT (they all pretty much come with a top spec), for £5.5k deposit and £449per month.

Decisions, decisions :(

How long are you going to keep it? 10 years? If you're doing it the more common way, "likely to want to start a family" doesn't mean that in a few months you have a 4 year old to take camping with you!

I think it's probably a case that a proper F10 will cost far more than this deal.

BMW are offering a much better dela on the GT cause it looks *****.

It's up to the OP really if they are willing to save money and drive a GT, instead of more and get a F10.

What about the 730d deals that were going round?

I don't see why you would take this over the 730d which is only 1200 despot + 400 per month (exc VAT)

This, if the 7 is cheaper it's a no brainer really. I'd only ever even consider a 5GT if it worked out so stupidly cheap it was impossible to say no over other cars.

I'll play devil's advocate here, but I think that that looks amazing in white with those wheels. I don't wish to debate it, but I would certainly not mind waking up to that on the drive each morning.

Not in that colour what is wrong with an F11 530d M Sport Touring?

They presumably are not knocking them out at anywhere near the price he has been quoted as he explained in his post :p

The 7 is the no brainer option though, its easily the best saloon car BMW make and the prices Dr House is quoting are criminally low.

I actually don't totally hate the GT but would rather have a touring in terms of usability (I have an E61).

How much would an F10 be with the same spec and type of deal?
