55” TV for Bedroom

The other half has decided they want a new TV for the bedroom. Any recommendations? Main things would be for satellite tv, Netflix and I may put my PS4 Pro into it. Ideally less than £700 if possible.

I’d go for the samsung ue55mu7000 for that budget.

Should be able to find a 10% off somewhere and grab it for £674.99.

I am unable to find any 10% off for this TV

If you are not bothered about it being brand brand new, take a look at dcdigitaltv. They have grade A ones for £689 there. If you are happy to pay by bank transfer, you can get the tv for £600 still with a 5 year warranty.

i'm 36 and moved out 18 years ago but i'm fairly sure my mum would disown me if i put a 55 inch tv in my bedroom

Guess it all depends on the size of the bedroom.
I'm getting a 55" at some point this year as our main TV (waiting for Spring sales). Once I have done, we'll be moving the 40" TV to the bedroom.
I've already got the wall mount in place in the bedroom - the 40" felt about the right size for a bedroom of that size. However, if the bedroom was the size of our front room, then I could justify larger
