The spoilt brat brother of mine is getting 550 for a new computer. Ah i suppose he deserves it. Please can you check this to see that its ok. I based it on a 500 pound spec i found buried away in here.

The Motherboard and HDD were out of stock so if someone could suggest a couple for around the 50-70 mark it would be much appreciated as i will be buying today. Thanks

I only chose that ram cause it was more expensive and sounded cool. that is about the extent of my technical knowledge!

Thanks Again.

Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard - £76

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (ST3250410AS) - £45.81

could drop the GTS in favour of the 512mb 8800GT to save £20+?

You could buy a cooler for that CPU because it clocks really well (3Ghz pretty easily, not to hard to get it above either). I user the Acrtic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, and I've got mine to 3.5Ghz It's a bargain for it's price imo

I'd be tempted by this for the money. Ok its £20 over but its xmas

Spec

Aero

EDIT: oops didn't read the order today bit, but the gainward is a little bit more. Also I didn't include an OS.

Thanks for the replies guys. I did forget to mention that it is purely for gaming and that I really don't think I will overclock. I'm petrified just going into the control panel as it is.

Will i get anything more out of the Gainward than the 8800GT? even a prettier box?

Okily Dokeily, Is This ok guys? If so i am going to go ahead and buy it now.

thanks so much for your guys help.
