5500fx is making pc reboot

Ok.

Say im running a few programs and i decide to run another, after a few minutes of running the program the pc decides to reboot. Now im thinking this isnt my card doing this but

When running a game(this is recent bahaviour btw)shootin, killin, rampagin blah blah it suddenly locks up and BAM reboot, i check the error log and its a problem with my drivers apparantly.

This has only started happening recently.

Also playing RO yesterday the treees went bright green squared out piece of poop.

Did you reinstall the display drivers? It actually sounds like a heat issue to me though from the symptoms you have described, so I would make sure that the fan is spinning (if it has one.)

Not done anything to the drivers for months, it does have a fan, a very small one

gonna open up the case brb as it were

Alrighty. It's worth reinstalling the display drivers even if you've not touched them, sometimes they can just conflict with seemingly nothing at all just because you installed a new piece of hardware or a random application.

I would uninstall them through the Add/Remove Programs window, then run Driver Cleaner Professional (a free download at www.drivercleaner.net) and re-install them fresh. It may help, unless it's a hardware problem.
