looking at getting a 550D just wondering what people think of it/whats the video on it like?

Love mine, great for a beginner. I don't feel like there is anything missing too important for a beginner missing from it. Only criticism I have is the burst rate is comparatively slow to other DSLRs but for the price you can't expect too much. Video quality is superb

think im definitely getting the 550d out of the 100's of reviews iv'e read about it not one was bad.

Had mine for one month, outstanding camera. Make sure you replace the stock lens with something decent it's pretty average.

I've had mine for a few weeks now as well. Brilliant camera. I think the only thing I'm starting to think about now is the 600D has wireless flash control which I'd quite like to play around with. Can't have it all though ;]

The flip out screen on the 600D would really tempt me if I was interested in the video aspect.
