550W PSU enough for a 7970?

Hi guys I have a Seasonic G series 550w '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply.

Should this be enough for a Asus HD 7970 Matrix Platinum 3072MB? I assume it is but just wanting to check before I buy.

The rest of my rig is:

Intel Core i5-3570K
16GB Ram
1TB samsung HD
128 GB SSD
DvD Drive ect.

Currently running an ATi 5850 which has been running perfectly. Planning to overclock a little but nothing extreme.

Yeah, I think AMD recommend 500w as a minimum, so you'll be fine.

Cheers guys, should be a very nice step up ready in time for BF4. Been playing on the Beta for a few days with median settings. Will be nice to try it on Ultra for a bit. Only 1680 x 1050 for the time being but will be upgrading to 1080p at some point soon hence the upgrade.

it will be fine mate, look at my sig all that runs fine on a 450w Bronze that comes with the SG05
