560 ti sli poor performance with 3d enabled

hi i got a weird problem

heres my computer:
Win 7 64bit
2500k @ 4.0 ghz
asrock z77 extreme 4 mobo
8gbs ddr3 ram
ocz 128mbs SSD vertex 3
samsung f1 1TB
asus 560 ti sli
OCZ StealthXStream 2 600W

The weird thing is i not actually using the 3d vision i just turn it off in game

if i enable 3d in nvidia control panel my performance drops in 3 games i tested far cry 3, natural selection 2 and arma 2 operation arrow head the fps go down to about 60 - 40 in ns2 but i i turn it off again my fps 80 - 100.

Ive just reinstalled my drivers thinking nvidia inspector had mess some think up but notice my performacne was good until i enabled 3d vision in control panel.

i enabled 3d vision in nvidia console but i turned it off in game so im playing without 3d vision should i still get bad performance?

hi that would work but i think im not getting the performance i should be even before i press crtl - t in game to play 3d

560TI SLI performance wouldn't be very high if its the 1-1.2GB VRAM versions.

hi yes i only got 1gb vram i check ram usage and its not maxed out with 3d enabled

hi, part of my problem was i havent had my 560 ti sli for very long so i was playing mostly far cry 3 in 3d so i was using this mod

to get 3d working, which also meant using nvidia inspector to do the sli fix to stop flashing shadows but the fix only seemed to work half the time, but when it did my fps stayed above 60, but now without it with 3d on, but not in game my fps tanks to 40.

which makes me thing its something driver related, i will try some older driver like gregster said and a game thats optimized for that driver see if that works.
