I've never overclocked my 5600 but my friend just got one and mine has to be faster...

I'm using the same motherboard i did with my 3600 so i know offset voltage is broke and have to set a fixed.
with this been said if i was to set fixed what should i been looking at for a max.

my 3600 did 4.35Ghz @ 1.325v could go any higher even at 1.4v
i only ever used PBO ones and the max core was lower then what i could set manually and the temps was way higher, so with this chip i would also like to avoid PBO
cooling is a 280mm artic freezer 2

What would be an average OC on a 5600?
Max voltage if running at fixed
What temp should i aim to stay under when stress testing.

Offset on my board is broken. If I change it in any way it just sets 1.4v all the time.
Right now I have 4.75 @ 1.325 with ram and fabric at 1900/3800mhz

I got a cenibench score of 11949 and a max temp of 77c @ 4.75Ghz

if you want to fire some PBO setting at me i am happy to try whatever but in my experience manual OC as always run cooler and hit higher speeds

ive not run prime for 15 years. for the tasks i do it solid I've had zero crash's, clocks are solid and it games at 60c(ish)

TBF it is well known that manual is better than PBO, i dont know about the larger core count cpu's but 6/8
in my experience manual on both my 3600 and 3700 was a 100 to 200mhz better on all cores the PBO and cooler.

when i first ever tried PBO i was told by a few people on hear to do it manual, looking into what they said it was better in ever way so i did, BUT i just game as did they.
PBO tends to pump voltage into the CPU, now days you get better scores under voting.
