Can i get people's opinions on the stock cooler on the 5600x please?

What have you 5600x owners decided on cooler wise as an alternative AIO or heatsink?

Currently my Case R4 Fractal design case has not got a glass window, my room layout is not designed to have the case open and visible on the left side.

In two minds to re arrange and buy the window glass and show it off.

Could also be looking to do some minor overclocking too.

Not bad but it's not good enough to get the most out of the chip, but that's open air testing. With the R4 though I think you may have some issues. The case is not the best when it comes to air flow, so personally I would at least upgrade to a cheap cooler. Question is, how much would you want to spend on a cooler?

The stock cooler will do the jobs but temps will run higher and it will be noisy, it will also limit any overclocking potential.

A decent £25 air cooler like the ID SE-224XT would be the way to go imo.

You should remove that plastic grill in front of front intake air filter.
That's really badly designed and constricts airflow for absolutely no reason. (you can't even see it from behind the door)
Also second intake fan would help if case is at stock.

For CPU cooler Brocken Eco Advanced would be massively better than stock pipsqueek.

Brocken 3 would be enough for updating to say 12 core.
