Hi

Yesterday I bought a 5600x this with AIO, to have better single core performance.
I come from
Asus prime x570-p
[email protected] 1.256v
2x8Gb 3600CL14

I passed CTR 2.11 rc5 to know where it came from

DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor
CPU VID: 1060
CPU TEL: 1035
Max temperature: 49.17 °
Energy efficient: 4.23
Your CPU is GOLDEN SAMPLE
Recommended values for overclocking (P1 profile):
Reference voltage: 1150 mV
Reference frequency: 4475 MHz
Recommended values for overclocking (P2 profile):
Reference voltage: 1300 mV
Reference frequency: 4725 MHz
Recommended values for undervolting:
Reference voltage: 1025 mV
Reference frequency: 4225 MHz

Phoenix deactivated!

I left the ram as it was, deactivated SMT and raised the multiplier and voltage to [email protected]
CB20 gave me 3668 Multi 71C 626 single 61C
When I tried to start Prime95 or OCCT restart / crash , even at 1.4v I didn't want to go above that voltage for safety.
Does anyone know how I could solve it?

As I could not find a solution, I began to follow a PBO tutorial from a youtuber Ayur
I put in bios
Auto multiplier and voltage
Enable SMT
In PBO
PBO limits motherboard
PBO scalar 10x
Max CPU boost 200Mhz
Curve on

I installed and ran ryzen master
With Auto OC it gives me 4.75Mhz,
I passed him CB20 OCCT PRIME without crashes.
The tutorial indicates that the indicators of the Ryzen master should be almost 100% when I benchmark, I adjust the values so that they are close to 100% (default PPT indicator max is 395 never pass 33%)
PPT 130
TDC 90
EDC 125
in the bios and I put the curve at -30.
This causes reboot only with OCCT. Curve shift to -20 and no more restarts.
The performance of multicore CB20 is 4669 at 69C almost like my old 3700x but single core is only 608
Prime temp 76C
OCCT temp 65C

I would like the AutoOC to arrive at 4.85 to archive 625-630 single core. I searched the JSONs at BIN folder inside ryzenmaster but none have a value 4750

Is there a way to change the maximum frequency in AUTO-OC?

Thank you for reading

I believe you could increase the max CPU boost past 200 in the early 5000 series bios but then AMD limited it to +200 max around the the December/January bios releases.

I remember someone had their 5600X boosting to 5.05ghz around that time.

Regarding CO you should put your strongest 2 cores and notch higher voltage (for example -20 for all and -15 for the 2 best cores).

I personally have the best 2 cores at -5 and the others at -10. Boost is at +50 (so peacking at 4900Mhz) as higher was giving occasional crashes but I don't have a golden sample! CPU voltage is auto, and I believe it should be auto when using Curve Optimizer (CO is regulating the voltage automatically).
