Hey all,
Just purchased and got delivered today an;
ASUS Prime B550-Plus with (bios 0608)
Ryzen 5600X
Unfortunately 3 hours later of troubleshooting not being able to boot saw the sticker on the board stating the BIOS revision of 0608 which for Ryzen 5000 support i need at least 1004 (currently 1212). Unfortunately this board does not support CPU-less flashing and I do not have an alternative AMD CPU to get this flashed.
My only alternative is to do AMD loaner boot kit which i have already applied for or borrow a CPU from some one. I do not have any local friends who are rocking AMD CPU's so i thought i would reach out to see if there is anyone in the Milton Keynes area who would be kind enough to lend for 24 hours a 3000 series CPU so i can get this thing flashed!!
I understand this is a big ask for some faceless dude on the internet.
wish i spent the extra and got a CPU-less flash board but its totally my mistake for not looking into this properly.
If not i will see how far i can get with the back and forth with AMD support.
