Do I spend the £215 or not.

I play the likes of wow, and css.

Probably some diablo 3 and GW2 aswell.

Should i just get a 560?

I did have a 5870 before.

The money isnt really and issue, but its always nice to have more..

Do you still have the HD 5870?

If so I would recommend waiting, as with that budget you will only be able to get a card that is a bit faster than your current one. New cards come out in march from AMD (HD 7800 series) and Nvidia is expected to release soon as well (April is the current favourite).
 
Ah, in that case I would go with a HD 6950 2GB like this one.

The GTX 560 Ti 448 core is marginally faster (it does depend on the game), but only has 1.28GB of VRAM. Since games are starting to really make use of lots of VRAM (even at 1080p) I would suggest opting for a 2GB card, especially if it is only a bit slower - as you are better covered for future games (and HD texture mods/DLC).
 
i have zotac 560 ti 448 and its a great card . eats everything you will throw at it at 1080 p . I use to always buy ati cards but since swapping to nvidia everything just so much smoother . I cant recomend 448 enough . On the plus side ive not seen it go over 70c yet under load in BF3 ,and its quite as well so bonus . Dont worry about vram bandwagon by the time most games need 2gb vram ( BF3 uses just over 1gb vram on my rig at 1080p) it will be time for upgrade .

hmmm that true? ... main reason I upgraded my rig was for d3 nad the gpu will be one of the last things I upgrade. Before its release. Who will come first nvda's new gpus or d3 ... bet its the gpus :)
 
Both Starcraft 2 and WoW run better on NVIDIA GPUs. The speed bump is equivalent to having a higher end AMD card, one class above. So I'd guess the same will be true is D3.
