i have the card at a stable oc useing msi afterburner.
numerous times i play bf3, put the fan speed on say 80% to keep gfx card cool and i will get a black screen and the fan on the gfx card stops and goes to 15%.

is this overclock related? i have ramped up voltage and still does the same thing?
any ideas guys?

I think I will test at stock. I used msi combuster to check oc.

Don't use Kombuster to check!

Just use Heaven or a gaming benchmark instead like Crysis benchmark.

Does the card crash out in any other games?

BF3 is terrible for crashing using overclocked gpu's.

It could be a possible TDR(crash to desktop) issue that's quite common on the 560's, only you said the screen isn't recovering, maybe someone with a 560 can help you out there.

One more thing, your voltage is probably a bit high. I help a friend to overclock his MSI GTX560Ti OC 2GB to 950/2000 on just 1050v.

i was thinking that myself

a lot of my crashes with my msi 560ti was due to having my memory set to high my setting are now 1075v, 1000mhz core, 2175 memory and its pretty happy
