560ti screen tearing issue

Just bought one of the systems from here with the Asus 1GB GeForce GTX 560TI DirectCUII.

Im getting some minor screen tearing issues. Which ive read are common with the card, but only an issue on bf3, however the problem is also occuring on tf2 for me.

Im just wondering if anybody has some more knowledge on this problem because my searching has proved unsuccessful thus far.

Ill give it a try, but quick note, Vsync matches your fps to your refresh rate right? My monitor is 120hz, is that an issue. Thats why I opted to leave it off.

You will always have tearing with vsync disabled.

Turn it off - Live with tearing.
Turn it on - Live with mouse lag and frame rate spikes.

Since you have an Nvidia card, go into the Nvidia control Panel and try using Adaptive Vsync. It tries to remedy the impact of the above faults.
