I have a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L & Q6600 clocked at 3.2Gb for over 2 years and last year I bought a 560Ti, I’m thinking about upgrading the GFX again or will a better GFX card be bottle necked by the CPU? If not what card for BF3 & COD on my dell 24” 1920x1200 panel..

7950 or 670 represent the best value cards for each team; my recommendation would be the MSi 7950.

Both of these cards may be slightly bottlenecked in GPU-bound games but it is still a significant upgrade in my opinion.

Your current graphics card is probably bottlenecked somewhat, so a new and faster one will be as well. However, you still will get some benefit from a new card (I was effectively running a gtx580 with also a Q6600 @ 3.4 and that ran well). What sort of budget do you have in mind, and do you have a decent power supply?

Well this week I thought my system had gone bust, I've since repaired it, I budgeted £300 to replace the main board, CPU and ram, now I've got used to the idea of a fresh part/s I wondered whether to buy a new GFX, of perhaps continue with main board upgrade, now you mention my systems already bottle necking ?? :(

I would like to smooth out BF3 at higher quality :)

both BF3 and COD I would expect to benefit more from a CPU+ RAM boost (assuming your P45 board isn't one of the few DDR3 ones there were, I cba to check!) than a GPU upgrade.
Also, COD really wasn't demanding at all last I checked (have they changed this with blops2?)

going from a q6600 (3.2), to a 2500k at stock was like night and day for me, I still blame the DDR2!

Ivy bridge is faster still, even at stock, a 3570(k) is stupidly fast in comparison, built one for the GF a few weeks ago, and they are so easy to set up, pretty much plug and play!
