5670 crossfire

Phenom II X6 1055t @ 4.04ghz.

IIRC a stock 5850 will score about 17k GPU score.

This is a bit more than the score of a highly OCed 5770.

These excellent cards are on sale in the MM.

individually these cards have benched 1050/1200 scoring around 6800 GPU score.

Not bad for cards not using a power connector.

tbh 3d mark 06 is more about cpu than gfx, my score ranges from 22,000 - 28,000+ depending on my cpu clock, yet adding another 5870 for CF only gave me 2,000 extra
heaven will give you a more true result on the gfx side of things

This is 3dmark vantage.

Thanks to those saying nice scores :)

People always have a go at me for running 5770 in crossfire instead of a single 5870 as the performance is the same and it's better to have a single card. There is an argument for 5770 crossfire though and that is that it can be £100 cheaper than a 5870.

In your case however, two 5670's are the same price as a single 5770 and the scores are the same. in this instance I can see no reason to go for a crossfire 5670 setup. Unless i'm missing something?

Well I got these for about what I am selling them for so they were pretty cheap.

It was an experiment.

They are quiet, splitting the heat production over two cards helps keep the noise down.

I only just noticed that, is that not breaking the rules? I for one feel a bit annoyed to find interest in a thread only to discover it's just advertising!

Crazy to blow £140 on these when one 5770 will match and probably easily beat them in games, don't judge game performance by vantage results.

This person just seems to want to flog his 2 cards to be honest.

It was originally just my curiosity and I have to admit it was a bit of a shameless plug the post futher down :D

I will bring up some propper gaming results after I have got through my last exam tomorrow :)
