5700xt aniversary 1440p upgrade options?

I tend as a rule to go 2nd hand for my GPU's, whilst the 5700xt is just about holding up for my games its becoming a noticeable bottleneck so planning to part it out for something newer that will give me a noticeable jump and tide me by for a couple of years.

where would you go to in the green and red space? i've been away from the space for a few years so have little knowledge now

What's you budget which is most important?

Nvidia are due to release new GPUs January 2025 so ii mite be worth waiting.

Minimum I'd say a 7800xt .

i went from a normal 5700 to a 7800xt this time last year and it was a very nice upgrade

4070s 7900xt are a good and massive upgrade. If your rich right now 7900xtx but I just can’t at the price say 4080s/4090 are worth it..

I literally just got a 4080s like today. But it was the same price as a new 7900xt. So for that reason only. I’ve been looking for a cheap xtx from people upgrading…

But a 4070s or 7900xt are super solid gaming gpus

Reading the OP I'd say a s/h 7800XT when people jump over to the RDNA4 cards in a month or two
