5770 & ATI quick Q's

Ok finally going to upgrade my ageing 8800 640mb GTS.
I cant fit any cards larger than my current card in my case, so am i right in thinking the new 5770 is the best i can get, also will it be much of upgrade ? has anyone made a similar upgrade ?

What i needs it to is
Work perfect with W7 x64
Connect to my tft & plasma with a extended desktop running 1920x1200 & 1280x720 resolutions
Run steam games with no problems , specifically LFD2

Looking to buy the powercolour one on sale tonight!

Go for it, a 4890 is better raw performance at present but is hotter, louder and has no DX11 so yeah 5770 is prob best bet

I've got the powercolour 5770, coming from a 8800 GTS 320mb. Not sure about how much faster it is but it's a lot.

Works on win7 x64 and steam games (MW2). Cracking buy for the proce + dirt2 free, can't go wrong!
