[SOLVED] 5770 causing odd booting

I recently got a XFX hd5770 and started having a problem with my boot up. Although power was clearly getting to everything, windows would refuse to boot up straight away after hitting the power button. Instead the DVD writer would continue to spin for 3-7 times as if loading a DVD before getting a BEEP! from the mobo speaker and windows finally started to load.

I thought this may be down to power issues so I bought a Corsair TX650W so that the GFX would have its own seperate rail. This did not seem to change anything and now it continues to do the same thing as described above, whether it be a boot up or restart.

I had previously had a 9500gt and never had such trouble, I was wondering if this could be down to a fault gfx card or perhaps power issue.

Any help provided would be appreciated.

I forgot to mention I have tried that sorry :p I have also tried changing the 5770 back to the 9500gt and keeping in the Corsair PSU which gets rid of the problem, this gives me the impression that either the card is faulty or there isnt enough power to be shared around.

My spec:
Intel Q6600 @ 2.4GHz
P5n-e SLI mobo
8GB ddr2 800mhz ram
XFX hd5770 1gb
Corsair TX650W psu
Maxtor 500GB HDD
Lightscribe DVD writer

Sorry I cant give any detailed information on the DVD or HDD.

I have solved this issue after reading another post. It was down to an outdated BIOS and once updated solved my issue :).
