Hi

I'm thinking of getting 2 5770's to replace my GT260 - 216. My motherboard is a gigabyte p35 - ds4. Is the p35 chipset ok to crossfire these will i be limited with the 2nd PCI express slot (x4) or will I see a decent improvement over my 260 ?

Thanks

Im gaming at 1900 * 1200 so according to that article i will on see a 4% performance loss on a x4 PCI express slot thats great news.:)

Will both the PCI express slots default to x4 if I crossfire 2 5770's ?

Paradigm, Taken what cards did you upgrade from ?

I just want to make sure the upgrade from a 260-216 will give me a decent performance upgrade before i shell out £240 quid :)

I dont really want to upgrade the board as well at this point its still performs really well with my 260 - 216 q6600 at 3.4.

So is best to stick to a single card like a 5850 would i see better performance with a single card than if i was to xfire 5770's on this board ?
