5770 Graphics Card cooling....

Hi can someone recommend a decent cooler for this graphics card please......

Unfortunately with the 5770 you are extremely limited to coolers that will fit due to the small distance between the mounting holes. Only 61mm diagonally instead of the more usual 72mm. I ended up getting rid of mine as i could'nt get a decent waterblock that would fit. It's not much better with air cooling. I know that a Akasa Vortexx Neo and Zalman VF700 will not fit. I don't think that any of the coolers sold here will fit.

The Accelero L2 Pro will, IF you've got the slot space.

edit - out of interest, if you do shift the stock cooler for an aftermarket depending on the revision I'll have the stock off you.

Then if it breaks he won't be able to RMA it.

You could try and get your hands on a Vapor-X. Don't know how they stack up against aftermarket kit, but damn it is quiet...
