Whats everyone got their 5770's at?

Currently got mine at

GPU Speed - 960
Mem Speed - 1200
Core Voltage - 1.2
Cooling - XSPC H20 Waterblock
Temps - 44c max

Wanting to know what volts peaople are needing to get 1Ghz on core

TNA - does your 5770 push all games at 2560 on your monitor?

I have a choice between a GTX295 (which I already own) and I've bought a 5770 in an effort to get a quieter/cooler system (hence why I've got an i3-530)

Though, I run that same monitor and knowing that a 295 will eat absolutely everything at 2560.... would love to confirm the 5770 should do it.

You guys got any extra cooling on the ram on these cards? I don't know whether it would be worthwhile getting some ram sinks for mine now there's no fan as I've got a water block on the core.

I don't run those clocks 24/7 but I know I could because I stress tested it at those clocks and there was no problem. I have also had it at those clocks for hours while playing and again no problem. However I see no point in running at those clocks 24/7 when only a few games I play really benefit from it. Also doing so will mean you will forego the power saving feature of the card.

The only two games I am playing right now that I overclock on when I play is Left 4 Dead 2 and Dirt 2. Again remember I play these games at 2560x1600, everything maxed out expect I only go for 4x AA.

g_tripwood. I think you would notice the difference between the two cards to be honest. The 5770 even overclocked can't run all games. I have Crysis Warhead for example, have not tried it yet, but I know I would not be able to play on very high or with any AA. For you I would recommend a 5870 or at least a 5850 to be honest. Alternatively, if you have PCIE2 which I don't, you can buy 2x 5770 and crossfire them ;)

I am happy with this card. I am planning to keep it until the 6870 comes out. I would have went for a 5870 but the price for performance is just not there this time round. Last time I paid under £200 for my 4870 which was great value for the time.

Oh, and I don't have any extra cooling on the card. My rig is like a fridge anyway. never goes above 24C and when its cold its like 18C case temp ;)
