Think it'll fit in there? I'm not sure if that metal heatsink will get in the way, it sticks up a couple of centimeters, so won't it get in the way of the cooler?

And if it does, what would be the best single slot card to go in there instead? Mobo's being reported as an Abit NF-M2S, though looking at pics the cards look different :x

So I have a yes, a no, and a maybe? XD

Gonna be getting a new modular power supply as well to power the card, which will sort all the cabling problems, its just that heatsink with is iffy.

I'm going to say yes personally, but only if you can shift the wires a bit more.
