5770 talk to me

hi all, currently running my 3870x2 but have been vaguely looking into an upgrade.
im by no means a hardcore gamer but i am getting into pc gaming and dont really do anything else graphics intensive.
would like to ditch my loud and hot 3870x2 but only for something worthwhile and would only like to spend £100 give or take a few quid as anything more would be a waste really.

ive noticed you can get the 5770 for around that price, are these cards any good? run cool? how loud are they? are they any good still? would i be silly to pay brand new prices for old tech? has anyone got benchscores between the 3870x2 and the 5770?

COME OVER TO THE GREEEEN SIDE

the msi gtx460 cyclone 768 OC edition overclocks very well, can out perform a gtx 470... good card for the price. the cooler keeps it nice and quiet too, unless your running furmark to warm your cockles on a cool eve
