Hi everyone, I've been lurking on here for ages but this is the first time I've had a real question that hasn't already been answered.
Anyway I have an XFX hd 5770 which has been very modestly tweaked from 850MHz to 880MHz core and the memory left at 1200MHz in afterburnerer.
I got sick to death of the high pitched fan ruining my otherwise fairly silent WCed system so i replaced it with a slightly hacked up http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/vga/430/accelero-s1-plus.html. (bear in mind I'm using a silverstone RV03 so the airflow is up and out over this).
However the card has never, ever gone over 55*C in any monitoring software. It will happily play crysis 3 on medium/high settings at 1680x1050 (crappy monitor)
Is this normal?
