5770 vs 7750

So I just got given a free graphics card. I know, right.

My missus is currently running a 2GB MSI Radeon 7750 in her rig

I have just been given an 1GB MSI 5770 hawk (twin frozr)

If i'm reading correctly the older 5770 is better on paper, right?

Is it better in gameplay?

Yeah memory bandwidth of 7750 is better due to gddr5 vs the 7750s ddr3.

edit meant to be 5770 is better due to gddr5.

They are about the same in terms of performance, but the 7750 uses about 50 Watts less power.

Pretty good little GPU in its day the 5770.

It's the crippled 7750, doesn't help much.
