5770's in crossfire

Looked for answer here and every where. Two non-reference 5770's one a HIS and the other an MSI. So far mounted two universal GPU only coolers [Koolance GPU-220] cooling the mem chips with enzotech BMRC-1, do I need to cool the tiny vrm's ( I think thats their name!! ) with enzotech mos c1 - The ones situated on the pcb - near the PCI bracket. Or will good air flow take care of matters. This has not been cost effective exercise will buy reference cards in future LOL.

i dont think they have to be cooled tbh.. but if it were me i would cool them just to be on the safe side...

Thats my thinking - xlmuppet- Unfortunately these are in short supply. Waiting on a few few sites for fresh stock. This is holding what is already a long drawn out build. I get impatient but will wait if necessary. Cheers

I think some small heatsinks would do the job with good airflow

I think VRM overheating hindered my 5xxx cards.

I could barely overclock my 5770 or 5870 despite water cooling the cores to 40*C under load, painstakingly sticking little heatsinks to the RAM and VRMs.
