580 sli 2 diff card advise...

ive got two rig with 580, one with a 2500k and the other with 2600k my plan was to sli the rig with the 2600k in it when funds are available but i cant wait so i want to put the 580 out of the 2500k rig in the 2600k one.

one card is a pny reference cooler card and the other is a msi twin forzr 2 card.

what card shout i put in the first slot???
 
If both have the same memory your good to go. Regarding placement, try each card in each slot and check load temps, the frozr will dump heat into the case, whereas the pny will exhaust out the pci bracket. Also, what psu are you running.

yeah so i was thinking to have the pny on the top,if the msi was on the top it would blow on to the back of the pny right??? so better to have pny so it blows air out the case???

there both 1.5gb cards...
