Hey i was just wondering which cards would be best for a sli setup was looking for cool quiet cards, maybe 2 twin frozrs?

I wouldn't argue with two of those due to their excellent cooling although they are larger then reference cards so make sure you have enough space.

The only issue with cards that use non reference coolers, is heat dumped into the case. Unlike reference models that expel it via the pci bracket, the trade off being a bit more noise due to the loud stock fans. Board spacing has an important part to play as well.

I have just got 2x 580 SLI last week.
With reference coolers & playing metro on max settings.
With the fans running at 75% they are very loud almost to loud.

But the cards are maxing at 68c & 73c so not to hot & I can OC my CPU higher as the air in the case is cooler.

Before I had one card with twin side fans & as the air was hotter inside the case the CPU was running hotter.

+1

I've got two reference EVGA 580's in SLI and they are great at blasting the hot air out the back of my case. Idle at 34/36 and max load 72/74 (with modified fan profile in MSI Afterburner) but not too loud.:D
