580 with LG 34UC79G monitor?

hey guys,

Looking at upgrading to the LG 34” monitor, I have a sapphire 580 in the system atm, how would this cope that res monitor?

I have been eyeing up the vega 64 Red Devil gpu, would I be better with this also??

That monitor is a great match for your GPU, and you'll be able to take advantage of having FreeSync

I think the card will struggle with that resolution to get high frame rates. (I've got a vega 64 if you love playing about with settings you will love this card

)

I had that monitor and a rx 480. Not much harder to run than 1080p.

It was a perfect match.

You don't need a Vega for that monitor but it's up to you of course.

Why did you get rid of it? Looks a good spec for the price.

The vertical height bothered me being only 1080 considering that I previously had a 1440p monitor.

It was really nice though with really good contrast and colour.
