I have recieved 5 x XFX 5850 today which have now all shipped

I have 15 x Spare Gigabyte 5850 Arriving tomorrow

I have 60 x Spare XFX 5870 XT Edition avaialble arriving on Friday Monday. That is all the news I have at the moment.

Well, it's Monday, and the store is still showing "Pre-Order" for every single make of 58xx.

The 5970 is released on Wednesday, are you waiting for them to come in as well ?

AMD are pretty stuck for the next few weeks stock wise on anything starting with a 5***. However we are getting very small quantity on allocation from all the AIB's and we are shipping some orders. As for the new launch product and the dates it will be a hard launch on the 18th that is all I am able to say under the terms of the NDA I am afraid.

Ok i'm getting really dispondant now

Placed my order for a new complete rig on the 15th October, along with a 5850. I've changed the order so many times, and have made it quite clear I didn't mind which make of 5850 i get. Was told the VTX was the next card in so was changed to that, and now hear that others have been getting their cards through on the Sapphire's!

Whilst i'm made up for you guys for getting your long awaited cards, i'm just feeling a bit left out here.

I have confirmation of a large volume of Sapphire 5850 leaving Hong kong today they will cover all back orders with plenty to spare. Realistically they will be here on Monday.

No news on anything 5870 I am afraid.

Ditto. Could someone please clear this up for me? What exactly is the hold up on the cards? I've read low yields from TSMC (which were supposed to fixed already), slow delivery methods and price jacking conspiracies. At the moment, it feels like all 3.

The product is on extreme allocation at the moment. We are getting more stock than anyone else in Europe. We are processing all orders as quick as possible and fairly.

Any news on the Gigabyte 5850's coming in yet?

Hows do the Sapphire's hold up to the Gigabyte, anyone had experience with Sapphire regarding RMA and the likes of that?

They are both exactly the same cards and have a similar warranty service. I should be seeing a few gigabyte in this week.
